Welcome to Gilbert Inglefield Academy.

I am proud to be the Head Teacher of our growing school; we are fast-moving and forward-thinking and led by a therapeutic approach to teaching, learning and behaviour where relationships sit at the core of all policy and principles.

We share the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) motto that ‘Every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support that enables them to fulfil their potential’, and this principle provides the foundation for all that we do.

We deliver a child centred, broad, rich and balanced curriculum designed to engage and support the holistic development of all children. Our relational approach allows us to focus on valued behaviour which enables all children to develop self-knowledge, self-esteem and self-confidence.

Fundamentally, through growth, integrity and kindness, our intention is to empower all of our students to become world ready citizens and successful, life-long learners.

We share a strong school ethos that promotes a culture of connection, inclusion, respect and value for all members of the school community. Our focus is on high expectations, high quality teaching and comprehensive pastoral support to ensure all students can achieve and thrive both within and outside of the classroom.
