Tiny Forest
We have been delighted to take part in the Tiny Forest Development.
This involves planting a dense fast growing woodland area at school roughly the size of a tennis court, containing over 18 species of native trees and shrubs.
This is a fully funded project provided by environmental charity Earthwatch.org.uk and Central Bedfordshire Council as part of their sustainability plan to become carbon neutral by 2030.
We were very busy during week beginning 10th March. Work started on the area for our Tiny Forest, with lots of hard work is being undertaken to prepare the area. Planting day then took place on the Friday, and our Tiny Forest is now growing and will become an amazing area for our students to use in the future.
