History
History underpins every aspect of life and learning in a changing and developing world. At Gilbert Inglefield Academy, we teach history to fire pupils’ curiosity and imagination about the past. This enables children to gain contextual understanding of the past and develop their analytical, critical and evaluation skills to help their learning today and in the future.
Please note that in Year 5 and 6, History and Geography are taught in alternating half termly blocks.
