Year 7 trip to Whipsnade Zoo
After the success of our cinema reward trip last term, we have decided to continue to acknowledge the consistent good behaviour of our Year 7 students by organising another trip.
We have arranged for the students to visit Whipsnade Zoo on Monday 27th March. We will be spending the day there and students will be in groups that they have organised. Staff will supervise contained groups to areas of the park where pupils will be given some independence and meeting points to return to throughout the day. Certain students will be accompanied by staff throughout the day.
We will be leaving school at 9:30am and arriving back at 3:00pm, so students will arrive at and leave school at the normal time.
Students must wear school uniform on the trip but may wear trainers or walking boots. They should also make sure they bring a coat, as well as gloves if the weather is cold.
They should bring a packed lunch and a drink, preferably in a disposable bag. No cans or energy drinks are allowed. If your child has free school meals, please let head of year Mr. Walker know if you would like the school canteen to supply them with a packed lunch for the trip.
