SEND Coffee Morning

Our SEND department will be hosting their first Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Coffee Morning of this academic year, and we are delighted to invite parents of students with EHCPs and SEN support, or who are receiving SEN monitoring.

Date: Wednesday 23rd April 2025

Time: 9.00am-10.30am

Location: The Hive

This coffee morning aims to bring our parent/carer community together, as we believe in the power of collaboration and open communication. It will provide a relaxed and friendly environment for parents to connect, share experiences, and support one another. This is an informal event; feel free to drop in and leave whenever you feel comfortable.

We understand that raising children with special educational needs comes with unique challenges, and we want to create a space where you can find comfort, advice, and solace. During this event, members of our dedicated SEND team will be available and more than happy to answer any questions you may have. We genuinely encourage your attendance at this event, as we value your input and believe it is crucial to nurturing an inclusive and supportive school community.

The SEND team that will be present for the morning will be:

  • Lucy Price,
  • Jade Wheeler, Deputy SENDCO,
  • Tracey Funge, Lead Learning Support Assistant,
  • Jacqui Holliday, Interventions and Inclusion Coordinator,
  • Holly Drakeley, ELSA
  • Adele Williams, SEND Administrator
  • BROOK and other supporting agencies.
