Harvest Festival

We  will celebrate Harvest Festival during the Key Stage 2 school assembly on Thursday 30th September.

Our aim is to make children aware of harvest and to encourage them to think about those people less fortunate than themselves. To this end we would be very grateful for any donations of food (packets or tins – not fresh produce) to help create our harvest display. We welcome donations from the parents/carers of children in all year groups. Please send your gifts in to school on Tuesday 28th or Wednesday 29th September.

Mother Kirsty Borthwick , from All Saints Church, will visit our assembly to join our celebration, talk to the children and thank them for the donated food. After the festival the harvest gifts will be distributed to the homeless in Leighton Buzzard.
