Design and Technology inspires our future problem solvers. Pupils use creativity and imagination to design and make solutions within real life contexts. Design and Technology prepares pupils to think, design and manufacture creatively to enhance the quality of life in an ever-changing world.

At Gilbert Inglefield Academy, we have a unique opportunity to teach pupils advanced D+T skills from Year 5 in a well-equipped workshop. We break down the fundamentals of good design and develop pupils’ creative and technical skill through genuinely challenging projects. Our pupils become creative problem solvers who apply knowledge from many subject areas to design worthwhile products.
